With spectacular views down Loch Fyne towards the hills of Kintyre, this 18th century, single storey stone lodge stands just across the road from a pebbly shore, and has its own small enclosed garden. A former gate house, set in the extensive grounds of the Strachur Estate's Adam-style mansion, it provides a cosy and comfortable base for exploring the lovely Cowal Peninsula and Argyll countryside. Woodland walks though the grounds can be enjoyed from the doorstep. |
